I've got posting to do, so... Infinite adventures is my rewrite of Dangerous Journeys by Gary Gygax, for this version we start by adopting what Gary preferred as the name for the system, Infinite Adventures. Infinite Adventures is a system for roleplaying guides; a guide that is for running adventures for two or more parties, one a guide and the others players, in an imaginary world. In as much as you can't actually balance it in play, and that it's just too complex, it is not a game. At the moment I' looking redoing the current 3 guides for IA; Changeling, Mythus, and Unhallowed. Next post I will start with the basic mechanics for Infinite Adventures; with, for this system, will start with determining race.
Today it came to my attention that I am not safe here at LGC&R. You see, I found my glasses on the floor where they could be stepped on and denying me clear vision until they could be replaced. My myopia is severe, my astigmatism is fairly mild in contrast, but being visually impaired in any case is a disability. So on Monday I will be lodging a complaint with management while seeking redress with Senior Services in the County And I do need a replacement for my charging cable for my phone. In addition, once I have my own apartment I'll be in the market for a cat. A repaired knee. an apartment, and the most expensive of all; a cat
I have come to a conclusion, somebody just doesn't care if I live. Rather than pay the stipend to deal with my knee they'd rather I die. My knee could be fixed, unlocked as it were, and with exercise I could be up and about and doing things. But my insurance agent is a perpetual 9 year old who has never, and will never become socially aware. He will never become empathetic. Interruption: Got moved to a new room, but other than that I see no real change. Any ... how... So I'm just giving up, I'll have fluids but nothing to eat; I should be gone in a few months. In essence I'm being killed by greed, the "need" for insurance to save money that never has been theirs to deal with. The government set it aside to handle my needs, not for Blue Shield of California to cling to like a toddler and his blanket. And I still have work to do. Maybe in my next life.
